Was flyin in Alaska from PAEM to PAGM, takes 'bout 1 1/2 hours. most is over da Bering Sea, dat's alotta water... BORING!!! So, I'm flyin my Cessna Amphib low over da water and figure I would see if da simulator respects da laws of physics... Startin at 500 ft altitude, I used da trimmer till it was droppin 1 ft every 1 or 2 seconds. I figured dat at dat rate my floats should skim da water and my plane should bounce back up... BUT, I never should hit da water cause at my speed, da air pressure between my wings and da water, when I got real low, should keep my plane from reachin da water. Low and behold... at 43/44 ft. my plane would go no lower. I flew at dat altitude witout any adjustments for over an hour... I was impressed wit the accuracy of da simulator
