This was the local Ford dealership in my hometown, a short walk from my home, around 7:00 AM EDT on Thursday morning. Right behind it is the Perkiomen Creek which reached a record height of over 21 feet (it's usually around 2-3 feet, the gauge only goes up to 21 and was broken by the water levels). By the time I took this photo, the water had already receded to around 16 feet, the place was completely underwater from floor to ceiling over the night.

Everyone, I've been thinking a lot about college lately, and I just wanted to put it out there - Froggie Air likely has less than a year left, as I go to college next August. As the time nears, probably in the next 6-8 months, I will send an email to every Froggie Air pilot letting them know of the situation. I will not be able to maintain this airline, or the Froggie Air server while in college, so I want everyone to enjoy the moments we have while we still can. I, of course, will keep the forum up and operational, I just won't be checking in nearly as often. A lot of things will be changing in my life when I leave, including this, which has been my home since 2015. But, this still isn't for another 11 months from now, so until then, happy flying!
Devon

Nothing from anyone in FL in a year. I do plan on continuing to run the forum, but I will close the airline before I go off to college. The forum basically runs itself and requires no maintenance, but the airline requires a constant updating of hours and stuff. I will send an email out to every froggie air pilot when the time comes explaining the situation and I will provide the spreadsheet with all of the hours in it. I will also have to close the server as well, as I will not be able to host one from my dorm room in college, and it's too much to keep up being in that situation.

Skyman, don't worry, I don't go off to college until next august. You still have a good 10 months or so until everything goes down. Keep enjoying the server!

Yesterday, I was accepted to the Pennsylvania State University's College of Engineering to major in Aerospace Engineering, which was my top choice school. Proud to say I will be the second Nittany Lion in my family as my mom graduated in the class of 1995, I will be the class of 2026!

Congatulations @devon, Good to see there will be other aerospace "addicts" in future. I got my french aeronautics master degree in 1995 too. I am sure u are going to enjoy those studies as I did.

Got the new DC Designs Concorde for FS2020 the other day, and flew the traditional route that British Airways (Speedbird) 001 flew, EGLL-KJFK. I did have a Concorde in FS2004 and FSX, but it was always too hard to fly, so I never did more than short flights, and never took it supersonic. This time around, I watched an hours' worth of video tutorials and typed myself a checklist. For the most part, the flight went perfectly according to plan, only with a couple issues here and there, like me forgetting to lower the nose until the last second before landing, and I forgot to train myself on the fuel transfer process, so I just did the best I could with that, but I ended up arriving in JFK pretty much perfectly on time, and I got some beautiful screenshots in the process.

No checklist. No tablet either, it's supposed to be true to life. The only difference between this and the real one is that the team is still working on an original INS flight computer, compared to the current FMS from the first few A320s they integrated into the airplane

In light of the new movie Top Gun: Maverick, Asobo and Microsoft released a Top Gun DLC for FS2020 featuring new paint schemes for the F-18 and a new aircraft, the Darkstar, also known as the SR-72, which was featured in the movie. This aircraft was a design drawn up by Lockheed Skunk Works as a replacement to the SR-71. It is designed to reach speeds up to Mach 9 using the power of 2 regular turbine engines that can switch into scramjets. I must say, it was a real sensation to be going that fast, even if it was just behind a computer screen. It is quite a sight to watch how fast my blip moves on a radar when completely zoomed out. Flew from Edwards AFB in California all the way across the US to Joint Base Andrews in Washington, DC in only 25 minutes, and cruised at 120,000 feet. Managed to then get from Joint Base Andrews to Shannon airport in Ireland, and ran out of gas on landing. Was a real joy to fly.
