I have the same file that Steve gave to you but I want to add profiles for the following: The Vulpar in our hangar and the Cessna 206 Stationair if someone has or can make? After just some very short testing, I have come up with these profiles. The Beech 18 / Volpar is very close and may need tweaked a little but likely not too much. Fuel flow is right at specs. As for the Cessna 206 - I assume and tested with the awesome Carenado models. Keep in mind that I tested using the standard model on;y. Use of the float, cargo, or combo models will yield different performance as they are slightly heavier and less aerodynamic You will see slower climb rates and CRS. speed, deeper decent rate and higher fuel consumption with those model's! All-in all, both profiles are very close to RW specs. and you can adjust within the sim and fsNav. I hope this helps. What to do? Make back up of your fsNav aircraft.ini file ( I rename mine as aircraft.BAK ) Located by default in C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Flight Simulator 9\Modules\FSNavigatorCopy and paste the following into your fsNav aircraft.ini file ( I try to keep ABC order). Then save and fly. If you do need to tweak, you can do so within fsNav and save changes. Your done. Here are the .INI entries to add: (Brackets in a/c title are required)! [Cessna C206 Stationair*] withoutash=1 climbspeed=90 climbfuel=14 climbrate=550 cruisespeed=135 cruisefuel=10 cruisealtitude=14000 descentspeed=70 descentfuel=5 descentrate=600 fuelmeasure=1 revision=3 [Beech 18 Volpar*] withoutash=0 climbspeed=160 climbfuel=90 climbrate=1800 cruisespeed=185 cruisefuel=70 cruisealtitude=24000 descentspeed=70 descentfuel=55 descentrate=800 fuelmeasure=1 revision=3 I welcome comments, corrections and edit's but if you do edit - Please post on this thread. ...EDIT BY ADMIN....[/b][/font] DO NOT REPLACE YOUR FILE! FSNavigator aircraft profile BAe ATP paint by FRG012-Larry302
Go to fs2004 -> Moduals -> fsNavigator -> AIRCRAFT.CFG (sometimes called Aircraft.INI) Open with note pad and insert the following then save. Be aware that this is close but not exact. Your plan fuel use numbers will be off and unreliable!

This is my default FS Navigator profile but it seems to be way off in all aspects. Does anyone have a more realistic?

Jenny, is that for the pltspc12.zip that you want painted? I will d/l and test for you this weekend sometime. The default profiles are usually off a bit but that can't be helped as every model is made different. I usually look up real life specs and test from there. I'll get back to you soon.

There are many conflicting sites but this is the best I have so far. Add this to your .CFG file but do not delete the original! Both are a struggle to get higher than 14,000 ft. and over that I had to use manual speed settings. I will work on it some more but for now try both this and the original and use what works best. I'll test more this weekend. If anyone has better, please post in this thread. Remember, ADD this but don't remove the original!
