have both MSFS 98 and MSFS 2002 on my Wimdows 10 computer. There are different threads here on different topics about getting those software apps working on Windows 10, but I was wondering if MSFS 2002 has (as maybe I missed it in the menus) or an addon could add Mini Controls to it. In case you do not know what I mean by Mini Controls, I took a screen shot. The box in the far left hand corner of MSFS 98 is what I mean. Please and thank you. Attachments:

please go and check the assignments and check for "mini controls" or "windowed view" of sorts and you might get the command of "W" or "Shift W", try both of those and if you don't plz let us know

None of that was found in 2002 This what W did in 2002
Shift W did nothing as far as I can tell.

So what I want does not exist in MSFS from version 2000? Is there a way to add it back in again? Not the best example in the world but this will have to do. Before version 2000, it was possible to add in GPS to it.
- If you do not like that example, fine here is a better one.
For Flight Sim 98 there was an auto landing feature to have the plane land itself, at the closest possible airport.
If one searches for autoland in the file file library at flightsim.com for version 2002, one will find autolanding - aircraft, Panels and a program FS2002 Autoland 2002 - under misc. Please and thank you

Most of what you are asking about were removed as they were considered superfluous, and not necessarily in keeping it "as real as it gets." As to add-ons to replace them, you might do some searches on flight-sim.com or avsim.com. Those with more experience than I might be able to point you in the right direction. I don't know of anyone save you who still uses the old school flight aids. Sorry I could not help you more. Jon
