Seeing that many of our members live in Florida, it was decided to make our newest hub in Florida. After careful consideration and even a little arguing we finally agreed that due to it's size, capacity, and appeal to major international locations, we have agreed that KMIA,Miami would be our best choice! Miami will also serve Cuba, The Bahama's and Caribbean as well as many other domestic and international destinations. As many potential destinations have been chosen, we are working on setting up the routes and hope to have them operational by the weekend. As always, your thoughts and suggestions are welcomed - We value your input. Keep an eye out on the routes page and a list of current destinations under consideration will soon be posted and you may comment in this thread any thoughts/ideas that you may have. You should also post suggestions for future hubs!

I am all for Miami. May I suggest that since many here are from Europe, we add a hub there also? The members from there could be of great help in setting up the hub, (my choice would be London), destinations and routes? Also, a hub in north-east USA, New England area. Pittsburgh or maybe Philly?

I agree with Tammy. Not because she's my wife but because of logic. We have close to 40 members here and 16 on the VA so my opinion is just that - opiniion. I would love to see what other's post too. Is there a limit to the number of hubs and routes we can have? I believe every hub should connect with each other as much as possible while also giving a variety of routes. Most I see on the above screen shots are long hauls. We should have some smaller routes for those who do not like to fly the big jets! Something for everyone. Anyway, my idea's for hubs while keeping KDEN,KMIA and EDDF are as follows: (Just ideas) Where I show multiple airports, I mean pick the one best for our airline.EGLL, London Heathrow: We have enough pilots from the area to support and help build it. Also very common destination. OMDB, Dubai Intl Dubai UAE: One of the largest and busiest in the world. Servers as a major gateway to Africa, Asia, the Philippines and even Australia.. KPHL, Philadelphia OR KMEM,Memphis: Either could handle the Northeast United States without subjecting pilots to the slow frame rates often found in New York and Boston areas. KMSP,Minneapolis, KMCI,Kansas City or KDFW,Dallas: For the mid-USA. KMSP could also along with KDEN work Canada, while KMCI is more centralized. This one is a tough call! I can't decide a preference. KPDX,Portland or KSJC,San Jose: For the Western US, both make ideal locations for hubs and both have suitable capacity for both passenger and cargo.. PHNL,Honolulu, Hawaii: Last but not least. Honolulu is often forgotten as to it's cargo and passenger capacity! PHNL is a major gateway to the US and Asia and also serves the entire Pacific rim! Of all the airports that I have suggested, PHNL is my #1 pick. How many other Va's have hubs in Hawaii that can access much of the world and Pacific location that are hard if not almost impossible from other sites without a stop-over? Sorry so long but you ask for input from members. I have considered these since the day I joined. I am also in full agreement of having KMIA as a hub.

WOW Allen! I am impressed! Looks like a lot of thought went into this. You would have to ask Ashley as to number of hubs and routes. I believe nine hubs is the limit. Ashley handles most of the routes based on real life logistics. I like your idea's, especially EGLL, KPHL and PHNL. I had never thought of Hawaii as a hub but it would be perfect!

Great job Allen and all will be considered! I wish all members contributed like that! We will need members from Europe to help route EGLL and OMDB if they are accepted. I like Troy never thought about PHNL. That may be a gimmie not up for vote!
We can't read minds - we can only guess unless you post this topic people! Some want home towns but you need to post intent!

I am not getting the info from people who requested EGLL So it may be put on hold. The only person who helped was Neil and I have his ideas filed. THANK YOU NEIL! I also have added all European capitals hop locations to the list. Sad as many ask for this hub but only one pilot contributes! That's sad! I don't arbitrarily pick our hubs. I go with popular demand from YOU - the members! 40 members this forum yet only 17 on the airline roster. That is so sad. I am also working on a east USA hub that's to be determined. If we don't get more ACTIVE contributing members, then I'll halt all projects. It's a shame 40 forum members but only 17 VA members. I bust butt for nothing it seems. Angie let's close it all - No support or respect!

No offense or anything, but "lets close it all??" I have never been in a VA before, This is the first one. I have been doing research for close to two years trying to find the "perfect" VA to learn and grow from. And out of all the hundreds, maybe thousands available, I have chosen this one and Maxfreight as the ones to learn from. I have a great deal of respect for those who "bust their butts" to make an airline work. I could not do that. Neither the time or the smarts. I would love to help. I am not a good chief, but make a good brave. However I know nothing about Va's or how to run them. I realize that at the moment all I have is a phone to do any kind of work whatsoever "online" so my options are limited. If I don't offer something to a conversation, it's because either I have nothing to say, or I am mulling over my words before I respond. But to jump at us and snarl when I have not ever been asked to help or even been told what's going on kind of rubs my fur the wrong way. I sincerely hope that I have completely miss-understood that whole schtick, and if I have, I profusely apologize. But that is how it reads to me.

I think you have misunderstood. First off welcome! Second, We are new and growing. It is a lot of work for administrators. It takes much time to build a VA! Thankfully I have have a great crew of admins/mods to help me. What you see on my sites has taken me almost four years to build! The VA was just opened Feb.7th.2017 and already has set a VA record for new members!
If you have problems or questions - please post in proper thread or email Administrators. You will get reply! After almost 4 years this project is NOT closing. The shout box may but the VA is staying!
You can PM or email any admin that you need OR better yet email froggieair7@gmail.com Just fly and have fun! PIREP flights and if problems, let us know! I have a full crew of professional moderators on here. Just ask!
