Salutations! I have recently downloaded to my phone a plane called the Horton H-VII. Esentially is is a flying wing, sort of an ancestor to the B-2. When I got to a computer(mine is fubar), I downloaded it and then the game, and started to fly. This plane is a good looking bird with only a few "quirks" that I can live with. One of the quirks that I cannot live with is the engines speed/rpms. At idle, the engines are turning over 1500 rpm. At 10000 feet, 4800 rpm, 15000, 5000 rpm. By 24000 feet, I am managing a 2000 fpm climb at 160 knots and turning 5500 rpm! I know, right?!!? Descent is ok, but landing is a mess. Flaring is almost impossible as you can't get the thing to settle. You have to either land without flaps, limiting the airports to be landed at, or, fly the thing onto the ground, which makes for all sorts of interesting. Oh yes, taxiing is a hoot as well! At idle, I can taxi at just shy of 100 knots! So now my brakes are shot. Ha! Seriously, If anybody has an idea or suggestions, I am all ears. I looked at the aircraft cfg and compared it to my DC-6, and to my eyes, the engine part doesn't look like anything is wrong with it as it is written very similar to the DC-6. I got the plane from simviation, and the zip file is called Horton-H-VII-1.zip . The file is 13,185 kb in size. So tell me what you come up with, please?
Thanks! Jon, FRG013

That is a problem with the model.cfg file not the aircraft.cfg. Afraid that if you can't model then you are stuck or maybe contact the author

I agree with Froggie. I think it's in the model.cfg As I only paint, I can't help you on this. Maybe try to contact the author?

I looked into the model.cfg file, and it must be aliased, as all that was in there was a hashtag, and "normal Horton H VII". So I am going to try a few things to the aircraf.cfg file. I have a backup in case it doesn't work, I can always go back. I have modified three other aircraft.cfg files with great success. Make that four. I forgot about the Fokker Spin. (which wouldn't turn in FS9). If this works, I will let you know what I did if you would like? Thanks! Jon-Frg013
